‘#ALIVE’ Attracts 200,000 Viewers on the First Day of Release

The film #ALIVE is enlivening the theater by attracting 200,000 viewers on the first day of its release.

According to the Korean Film Commission, #ALIVE, starring Yoo Ah In and Park Shin Hye, topped the box office with 204,071 viewers on the first day of its release.

This is the highest figure since February, before the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also the highest opening record following this year’s top box office movie The Man Standing Next, which drew 252,058 viewers.

#ALIVE is a survival thriller about those who are isolated in an apartment as data, Wi-Fi, text messages, and phones all cut off amid people with unknown symptoms begin to attack.
