Singer IU released the first teaser images ahead of her comeback on May 6.
On April 28, EDAM Entertainment made an official press release and delivered dreamy teaser images for IU’s comeback with Suga of BTS.
In the released photos, IU grabs attention with two opposite images of her hands: in one photo, her untidy hand is shown, whereas, in another photo, her two hands are shown all decorated. Along with the teaser images, the title of the new song was also revealed as “Eight.”
Also, the fact that BTS’s Suga collaborated in the song as both a producer and a singer is making headlines even before the official release. It is said that based on their bonds as musicians of the same age, the two shared their opinions and incorporated their own synergy into the music.
IU’s “Eight” is the new song released in six months since her fifth mini-album Love poem.
The new song and its music video will be released at 6:00 p.m. on May 6, KST.
