North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye, better known as Kanye West, surprised K-pop fans during an Instagram Live session on Tuesday. When a viewer asked if she liked K-pop, North didn’t just list a song; she referenced the specific online campaign surrounding the group’s legal troubles.
“We gotta save NewJeans,” she stated simply to the camera.

Just days ago, MrBeast addressed the flood of comments from “Bunnies” (NewJeans fans) asking him to buy their agency, ADOR, or pay the estimated $30 million penalty fee for member Danielle. While MrBeast noted the high cost, he suggested fans start a crowdfunding campaign.
Korean netizens were quick to react to North West’s shoutout, expressing shock that the daughter of global superstars is keeping up with K-pop industry news.
