Indie singer-songwriter O3ohn has revealed he has been in a relationship for over eight and a half years with Jeon Joonie, a musician and the younger sister of Parasyte: The Grey and As You Stood By actress Jeon So Nee.
O3ohn opened up about his long-term romance on a recent episode of the YouTube show Sapience Studio. He joked that his relationship is so private that people often don’t believe he has a partner.
“If I say, ‘I’m in a long-term relationship, and we’re doing well,’ they immediately ask to see photos,” he laughed. “When I tell them we don’t have any joint photos, they then ask, ‘Then will it show up if I search online?'”
He shared that their bond is very strong, with fellow musician Lee Juck noting that after eight years, they must know each other as well as a married couple. “We’ve been living together for so long that our friends consider us practically married,” O3ohn explained. He added that while nothing is set in stone, they are at the point where they’re “contemplating, ‘Should we give it a try?'” and get married.
His partner, Jeon Joonie, is a member of the band pigfrog. She has previously posted a sweet, cheek-to-cheek photo of the two of them together on her personal Instagram account.
