Won Bin and Other Korean Stars Attend Kim Sae Ron’s Wake

Won Bin visited the wake of the late Kim Sae Ron on February 17 at Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
He arrived around 12:47 PM, while his wife, Lee Na Young, sent a condolence wreath. After greeting the bereaved family and paying his respects, he had a simple meal before leaving. He was seen wiping away tears with his sleeve and tissues while speaking with acquaintances and departed the funeral hall at 1:18 PM. Won Bin had worked with Kim Sae Ron in the 2010 film The Man from Nowhere.
On the same day, Han So Hee and Kim Bo Ra also came to pay their respects, as they were known to have been close to her. Jang Sung Kyu arrived around 1:35 PM.

Executives from Fantagio, the agency Kim Sae Ron was with for seven years starting in 2009, sent condolence wreaths, along with celebrity colleagues like Cha Eun Woo, Ma Dong Seok, IU, and Seo Ye Ji.
Meanwhile, police confirmed that no will was found at her residence. A police official stated on February 17th that no final note had been discovered and that there were no special investigative details.

Belated Report Confirms Kim Sae Ron Compensated All 57 Stores Affected by Her DUI
It was belatedly revealed that Kim Sae Ron kept her word and personally visited the stores affected by her DUI before her death. Kukmin Ilbo reported that she compensated all 57 stores in the area that suffered damages, which was an unusual move from a celebrity. In fact, one of the store owners expressed surprise at seeing her in person. However, her reputation never recovered despite her apologies and compensation. She faced financial struggles due to suspended activities, brand deal penalties, and compensation payments.
Kim Sae Ron’s Father Calls Out YouTuber for Influencing Her Death

At her funeral, Kim Sae Ron’s family revealed that she had suffered severe emotional distress due to exposé videos by YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. Her father accused the YouTuber of contributing to her death, saying he repeatedly made videos criticizing her every move, including her social media posts and her attempts to recover financially by working at a café. Following her passing, Lee Jin Ho deleted or privatized the videos, while her family is now gathering evidence for possible legal action.
