tvN’s upcoming drama Unknown Seoul (literal title) has confirmed the casting of Park Bo Young and Park Jin Young, promising a heartwarming story that embraces life’s struggles and joys.
Unknown Seoul is a romantic comedy about twin sisters who, despite sharing the same face, are complete opposites in every other way. The story follows the sisters as they swap lives, leading them to discover true love and purpose. The series is helmed by director Park Shin Woo (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Don’t Dare to Dream) and writer Lee Kang (Youth of May), raising anticipation for their collaboration.
Park Bo Young steps into her first-ever dual role as Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, identical twins who couldn’t be more different. Younger sister Mi Ji is a former track-and-field star whose fleeting glory days are behind her. She now lives a carefree, unrestrained life. On the other hand, elder sister Mi Rae is a perfectionist who has followed a straight path to success, currently working for a state-owned enterprise.
