Park Shin Hye shared her heartfelt reflections following the conclusion of The Judge from Hell, which aired its final episode on the 2nd. On October 3rd, the actress’s agency, Salt Entertainment, released Park’s thoughts on playing Kang Bit Na, a demon who possesses the body of a judge, in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama.
“It feels like these seven months of filming were incredibly joyful and fulfilling,” Park Shin Hye expressed. “The staff and fellow actors worked so hard together, and this project will be a memorable one for me.” She added, “I hope that the emotions we felt could be shared with everyone who watched our drama. Thank you for joining us.”
Reflecting on the audience’s positive reaction to her transformation, Park said, “More than anything, I’m so grateful and relieved that people said, ‘Wow, Park Shin Hye has this new side to her,’ and that made me happy. Acting is a profession where you have to be chosen, and in some ways, it’s a constant cycle of waiting. I had been waiting for a role like this, and having the opportunity to portray Kang Bit Na was truly a blessing.”
One of Park’s favorite lines from the series was, “Now, let the real trial begin.” She explained, “It stands out to me because it perfectly encapsulates Bit Na’s purpose—why she came to the human world. It’s the line that best represents her mission of punishing the guilty.”
When asked about memorable viewer reactions, Park recalled, “One that made me laugh was, ‘I become an Arong,’ referring to their intense, blind devotion to Justitia. I also loved the simple comments that just said, ‘Justitia-nim♥’ as if I had gained a bunch of fellow demon allies. Our fans had so many witty reactions that really stuck with me. Thank you so much!”
