Oh Hye Soo has revealed that she has started a family.
On June 21st, she wrote, “It’s been a really long time since I’ve greeted you all. While I’ve been spending time quietly without much explanation, I heard that many people were curious about my recent activities and worried about me.” She added, “So today, I wanted to finally reach out and share a heartfelt update.”
She continued, “My life has changed a lot over the past few years.” She shared, “I met the partner of my life and started a new family, and I met precious beings who have completely changed my world.”
She also said, “My daily life began to feel completely different from before. Through that process, I learned and grew a lot, and I was able to reflect on myself not just as an actress, but as a person.” She added, “As I went through this time, I naturally stepped away from my activities for a while.”
She expressed gratitude, saying, “I always remember the support and warm hearts you’ve sent me, even from afar.” She added, “I still love acting, and I hope to return with good projects and good performances as an actress.”
She concluded, “At the same time, I plan to slowly share different stories from my life as a person, not just as actress Oh Hye Soo. I’d be grateful if you continue to be with me.” She also said, “I’ll visit more often going forward.”

She had not previously announced her marriage or childbirth, so the news of her becoming a mother surprised many fans.
Oh Hye Soo is known for her role in the Netflix series All of Us Are Dead and also made a strong impression in Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
