Han Ji Min is opening up about her close bond with her lookalike older sister—and how she used to be known simply as “her sister’s little sister.”
The actress appeared on the YouTube channel “Fairy Jaehyung” on February 22nd, where host Jung Jae Hyung brought up stories written by her former middle and high school classmates. “When you read what your friends wrote, it feels like they were all cheering you on,” he said, adding that some classmates even recalled rumors started by older students because she was “so pretty and such a model student.”
Han Ji Min laughed and agreed that she was especially active during gym class. “I loved sports, and I always got top marks on the fitness tests,” she said.
She also shared that her school had originally been all-girls before becoming co-ed during her third year of middle school. “We didn’t mix classes, but we used the same building as the boys,” she explained.
When asked if she was already well known for her looks back then, Han Ji Min shook her head and pointed to her older sister, Han Sang Min, who is two years older. “At the time, she was the famous one,” she said.
“I was known as ‘Han Sang Min’s little sister’ or even ‘Han Sang Min’s strict little sister,’” she added with a laugh. “If someone called for my sister, I wouldn’t always put her on the phone. I’d say things like, ‘Isn’t it too late to be calling?’ I kind of kept an eye on her. She had more friends and was more popular, but my mom didn’t nag her—so I did.”
