Ha Jung Woo is drawing attention after putting two of his buildings on the market, with fans now speculating about possible wedding plans.
According to a February 19th report by Hankyung.com, the actor is currently in the process of selling two properties he owns in Seoul—one in Gwancheol-dong, Jongno District, and another in Bangi-dong, Songpa District.
Known as one of the entertainment industry’s most prominent real estate investors, Ha Jung Woo owns multiple buildings across Jongno, Songpa, Sokcho, and Seodaemun. With the recent listings, he is now moving to sell about half of his portfolio, prompting some to wonder whether the move is tied to his longtime relationship with Cha Jung Won, who is 11 years his junior.
The properties on the market include a seven-story building near Jonggak Station on Subway Line 1 and another building in Bangi-dong currently leased to Starbucks. The Jonggak property is reportedly being discussed at around 9.5 billion KRW (approx. 6.6 million USD), while the Bangi-dong building, originally purchased for 12.7 billion KRW, has been listed at 17 billion KRW.
Ha Jung Woo and Cha Jung Won have been in a serious relationship for nine years with marriage in mind, though they have not finalized a wedding date. The couple had reportedly considered holding a ceremony in July at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul, but postponed the schedule due to work commitments.
