YG Entertainment unveiled the first concept teaser for the group’s highly anticipated 3rd mini-album, DEADLINE, on January 30th.
The black-and-white teaser images feature striking close-up portraits of the members. With elegant updos, bold accessories and pristine white dresses, the minimalist composition highlights the group’s sophisticated aura. The artistic mise-en-scène has already captivated fans, sparking excitement about the musical direction of this new chapter.
BLACKPINK will release DEADLINE on February 27th at 2 PM KST. This marks their first full-group release in approximately 3 years and 5 months, following their chart-topping 2nd studio album BORN PINK. Given their history of shattering records and expanding K-pop’s global reach, expectations are sky-high for this comeback.
The group is coming off a massive year, having recently wrapped up their ‘DEADLINE’ World Tour. The tour covered 16 cities with 33 shows, earning them world-class recognition with sold-out stadiums worldwide. A highlight was making history as the first female K-pop group to headline London’s Wembley Stadium.
