Netflix has unveiled the main posters and trailer for its upcoming mystery series The Art of Sarah, setting the stage for a seductive story about identity, desire, and truth.
The series follows Sarah Kim, a woman who longs to become something priceless even as a fake, and Park Mu Gyeong, the detective relentlessly chasing the truth behind her carefully crafted identity.
The newly released main posters immediately draw attention with striking visuals of Sarah Kim (Shin Hye Sun) and detective Park Mu Gyeong (Lee Jun Hyuk). Sarah’s poster features her face partially obscured, paired with the line “When it seems real, is it still a lie?” hinting at a life balanced precariously between truth and deception. In contrast, Mu Gyeong’s poster is framed by interrogation boards and handcuffs, signaling his dogged pursuit of Sarah and the secrets she leaves behind.

The main trailer opens with Sarah’s haunting narration: “Falsehood is like a beautiful sunset that enhances everything. That is, until you get caught.” Although she introduces herself confidently as Sarah Kim, conflicting testimonies from those who have met her only deepen the mystery surrounding who she really is.
As Mu Gyeong digs deeper, he confronts a chilling possibility: Sarah Kim may not exist at all. The trailer heightens tension by intercutting multiple versions of Sarah, from a poised woman walking boldly through the city to someone desperately begging for her life. The phrase “The name where all desires land” underscores how many faces and stories seem to orbit the name Sarah Kim.
The intrigue escalates when Mu Gyeong declares, “There’s one thing she can’t erase. People’s memories of her,” suggesting that those connected to Sarah may hold fragments of the truth. The trailer closes with Sarah’s provocative line, “But you know, Detective, I haven’t told you everything,” leaving viewers with the promise of deeper secrets still to be uncovered.
The Art of Sarah premieres exclusively on Netflix on February 13th.
