Yun Si Yun and his mother revealed a heartbreaking secret they had kept for years.

On the January 25th episode of the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Yun Si Yun attended his mother’s middle school graduation ceremony. The actor gave flowers to his mother and her classmates, celebrating their long-awaited achievement.

The classmates showered him with praise, marveling, “How did you raise such a son?” and commenting, “You look much healthier than you do on TV.”

During the event, Yun’s mother made a candid confession that left the entire studio in stunned silence. She revealed that she had kept her son’s celebrity status a secret until now.

“I didn’t want to reveal it, but I’ve never graduated from middle school myself,” she admitted. “I was worried people might see my son differently because of it.”

The conversation naturally shifted to the future. When asked about his marriage plans, Yun Si Yun cautiously replied, “I want to get married soon.”

His mother then surprised everyone by revealing just how ready she is for that day. “I even got a babysitter’s license so I can help care for my grandchildren when they arrive,” she stated.

Yun Si Yun was visibly bewildered, asking, “When did you get that? Why did you study in secret?”

After the ceremony, the two shared a meal, and his mother confessed, “I always told you I was sorry for being your mother. I was sorry for not having the qualifications.”

In response, Yun Si Yun comforted her with a heartfelt tribute. “Mom, you are the best senior in my life,” he said. “You are the one who passed on courage and perseverance to me. Today, I received another great gift from you.”

Yun Si Yunhas previously spoken about his upbringing, revealing that his mother gave birth to him at the age of 20 and raised him as a single parent.
