BTS member Jungkook has once again fallen victim to an attempted home invasion.
The Yongsan Police Station announced on November 19th that they are investigating a Japanese woman in her 50s for attempted trespassing at the superstar’s residence. The suspect allegedly went to Jungkook’s home multiple times between November 12th and 14th, repeatedly ringing his doorbell.
Police stated that they have not yet confirmed if the woman has returned to Japan and plan to interview the victim to establish the full details of the incident.
This is unfortunately part of a disturbing pattern of stalking targeting the singer. Just last June, a Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested after repeatedly trying to enter Jungkook’s home by guessing the passcode; she received a suspended indictment in September. In August, another woman in her 40s was caught in the act of attempting to break in and was subsequently handed over to prosecutors.
“I Didn’t Know It Was a Crime”: Woman Who Kissed BTS’s Jin Gives Shocking Excuse

In other legal news involving the group, the Japanese woman who forcibly kissed BTS member Jin during a fan event has officially been sent to trial.
Legal sources confirmed on November 17th that the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors’ Office indicted the woman, also in her 50s, without detention on charges of forcible indecency.
The incident occurred last June at a “free hug” event for 1,000 fans held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium to celebrate Jin’s discharge from the military. The woman grabbed Jin and kissed him on the cheek without his consent.
TBS News reported on November 18th that the woman told investigators, “I’m upset. I didn’t know this would be considered a crime.”
However, the incident sparked outrage at the time, particularly after it was revealed she had bragged about the assault on her personal blog, writing, “His skin was incredibly soft.”
