Koo Kyo Hwan and Mun Ka Young headline the deeply relatable romance film Once We Were Us, which has officially set its theatrical release for Wednesday, December 31st, 2025, alongside the unveiling of its first trailer.
Once We Were Us follows Eun Ho and Jung Won, a couple who once loved each other fiercely but drifted apart—only to reunite by chance a decade later and confront the traces of their shared memories.
The newly released trailer opens with Eun Ho (played by Koo Kyo Hwan) and Jung Won (Mun Ka Young) unexpectedly running into each other on a plane after ten long years. From their awkward first meeting in the past to the small moments that drew them closer, the footage revisits the days when they laughed and cried together before life pulled them in different directions. The teaser closes on Eun Ho hesitating before telling Jung Won, “There’s something I always wanted to ask you. If—” a moment that taps directly into the unspoken questions anyone who’s ever loved and lost still carries in their hearts.
