Kim Seon Ho and Kim Yun Seok may be teaming up for the new drama The Congressman Sends My Condolences (novel title).
On October 22nd, a representative from HB Entertainment confirmed to Newsen that Kim Yun Seok is “positively reviewing” an offer to star in the upcoming series. Kim Seon Ho’s agency, Fantagio, also stated that the actor is “considering the project favorably.”
The Congressman Sends My Condolences is based on the popular web novel of the same name by writer Kim Hyun Bin, which ran from 2021 to April 2024.
The fantasy-political drama follows six-term congressman Goo Young Jin, who dies and returns as a ghost ten years in the past. There, he encounters Cha Jae Rim—a level-9 civil servant who happens to be the only person able to see him. Kim Yun Seok has reportedly been offered the role of Goo Young Jin, while Kim Seon Ho is in talks to play Cha Jae Rim.
Kim Seon Ho is currently lining up a busy slate. He’s confirmed to star in Netflix’s original series Can This Love Be Translated? with Go Youn Jung and Disney+ original Delusion opposite Suzy, and recently announced his return to the stage with the play Secret Passage (literal title).
