Disney Plus has confirmed that its high-octane boxing survival series I Am Boxer will premiere on November 22nd (Saturday), unveiling its main MC poster and first teaser trailer.
The show marks a new challenge for global action star Ma Dong Seok, aka Don Lee, who joins as the Master of the competition. Known for constantly expanding his action universe through a string of blockbuster hits, the actor— who also owns a local boxing gym in real life—brings his lifelong passion for the sport to the screen. Regardless of age, profession, and weight class, anyone with willpower and courage can step into the ring for a shot at life-changing glory.
Joining Ma are Kim Jong Kook and Dex, serving as the show’s MCs. Kim, one of Korea’s most famous fitness icons and a longtime boxing enthusiast, and Dex, a former UDT special force known for his athletic versatility, bring both expertise and energy.
Behind the camera, the production reunites powerhouse creators Lee Won Woong, director of the military survival hit Steel Unit, and Netflix’s Physical: 100 writer Kang Sook Kyung.
With missions of mind-blowing proportions and visuals, I Am Boxer represents Ma Dong Seok’s long-time dream project and a passion-driven tribute to the sport he loves. The series premieres on November 22nd, with new episodes every Saturday exclusively on Disney Plus.
