Suzy and Jennie are once again showing off their close bond.
On September 30th, Suzy posted a photo on her Instagram Story tagging Jennie—this time showing off a sleek black tumbler gifted by the Blackpink star. Adding a heart emoji next to Jennie’s name, Suzy let fans know just how much the gesture meant.
The two first surprised fans with their friendship back in August 2024 at the premiere of the film Revolver. Since then, Jennie has continued to show support, even sending a coffee truck to the set of Suzy’s upcoming Netflix series Genie, Make a Wish. At the time, Suzy shared photos of the truck, prompting Jennie to comment, “Prettiest! I wanted the banner to say, ‘Pretty Suzy unnie, Make a Wish With Jennie.’” Online, fans quickly summed up the relationship with the phrase, “Pretty girls stick together.”
Suzy’s latest project, Genie, Make a Wish, premieres October 3rd on Netflix. The fantasy rom-com follows Genie (Kim Woo Bin), a lamp spirit awakening after a thousand years, who encounters Ga Young (Suzy), an emotionless woman.
Meanwhile, Jennie and Blackpink are gearing up for their Asia tour this month, with stops in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
