Netflix’s youth romance film Love Untangled has revealed new stills of its surprise star-studded cameos, featuring Gong Yoo, Jung Yu Mi, Jung Yi Lang, and Im Woo Il.
Set in 1998, the film follows 19-year-old Park Se Ri (Shin Eun Soo) as she prepares for a life-changing confession while obsessing over straightening her naturally curly hair. Along the way, she crosses paths with transfer student Han Yoon Seok (Gong Myung), sparking a heartfelt coming-of-age romance.
Among the scene-stealing appearances, Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi reunite on screen—this time as the married owners of a local pub where Se Ri and her friends gather. The couple dishes out playful “confession tips,” charming audiences with their easy chemistry. The pairing marks their second time playing spouses after Kim Ji Young, Born 1982, and their affectionate, lighthearted moments add a rich layer to the film.
Comedian-actress Jung Yi Lang appears as the sharp-tongued woman who runs the school snack shop. In a witty moment, she shows Se Ri, who wants to buy a drink for school heartthrob Kim Hyun (Cha Woo Min), a fridge stuffed with drinks girls bought for him, adding comic flair with her signature dry humor.
Meanwhile, comedian Im Woo Il makes a quirky cameo as a client at Rose Hair Salon, famed for being the only spot in Busan to offer the trendy “Seoul Magic Straight” perm. Showing off freshly sleek hair, he instantly becomes the object of Se Ri’s envy—and delivers a laugh-out-loud beat for viewers.
Together, these cameos inject vibrant energy into the film, heightening the nostalgia and charm of its late-’90s setting.
