Lee Yoo Young is set to hold a formal wedding ceremony with her husband on September 21st in Seoul, celebrating their union in a uniquely special way with their young daughter in attendance.
The couple officially and legally got married last year by registering their marriage. However, they postponed their wedding ceremony to focus on the birth of their daughter and the demands of childcare. Now, they are ready to celebrate with family and close friends.
In a heartfelt message shared in their wedding invitation, the couple wrote, “We have already formed a family and nurtured love and trust through the time we have walked together. Now, we wish to formally exchange our vows in the presence of our family and relatives.” They added, “We would be grateful if you would bless our future so that we may live more beautifully than flowers and warmer than sunshine.”
This celebration is particularly meaningful as it brings the family’s journey full circle. Last July, just after the finale of her TV drama Dare to Love Me, Lee Yoo Young announced that she was married and pregnant. She explained that she had chosen to delay the news out of professional respect, wanting to avoid any disruption to the show’s production. The following month, in August 2024, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Her agency, Ace Factory, has since confirmed the wedding plans. The ceremony will be a cherished moment as all three members of their family will be present as the couple exchange their vows.
