BIGHIT MUSIC’s new boy group, CORTIS, has just dropped the first concept photos for their debut album, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES. This is the label’s first new boy group in six years, and the reveal gave fans their long-awaited first look at the members.
Shot against a sunny Los Angeles backdrop, the photos show off the group’s free-spirited and creative vibe. In the shots, the members are seen lounging in the bed of a pickup truck and climbing on industrial pipelines.

The choice of Los Angeles is significant, as it’s where the group’s identity was formed. CORTIS spent three months at a music camp in the city, finding their own sound and look by writing songs, creating dances, and filming videos. The new concept photos were taken during a return trip to LA in March, bringing the members’ journey full circle.
Adding to the excitement, it’s been revealed that all five members of CORTIS have production credits on their debut album.
Fans won’t have to wait long for their official debut. CORTIS will pre-release their title track, “What You Want,” along with a performance film on August 18th at 6 PM KST. The full five-track album, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, is set to drop on September 8th at 6 PM KST.
