Fans got their first official look at Cha Eun Woo in his military uniform.
Released today on the official Army training website, a new photo shows Cha Eun Woo looking sharp and confident. Notably, he’s wearing an armband that designates him as a “company commander trainee,” a leadership position given to exemplary recruits during basic training.
Cha Eun Woo’s fellow ASTRO members also gave fans a glimpse into his time in training. Recently, Yoon Sanha shared a funny moment from their group chat, saying, “On Saturday, Eun Woo suddenly messaged us asking, ‘How did MJ do it?’ and ‘Save me.’”
Sanha laughed, adding that the message shows that even someone as fit as Eun Woo finds the training tough. However, he reassured fans, “It seems he is adapting well regardless.”
Cha Eun Woo began his mandatory 18-month service on July 28th at the Army Training Center in Nonsan. After completing basic training, he will serve in the military band and is expected to be discharged around January 2027.
