KBS has announced its final Wednesday–Thursday drama of 2025, My Girlfriend is the Man. Starring Yoon San Ha, Arin, Yoo Jeong Hu and Chuu, the series promises to bring a fresh and unique romance to the screen.
According to iZE on June 25th, the drama is set to air as the follow‑up to KBS 2TV’s Wednesday–Thursday series The First Night With the Duke.
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, My Girlfriend is the Man is a chaotic romance about a girl who wakes up one morning to find herself transformed into a handsome man — and her devoted boyfriend who refuses to give up on her despite the change.
The 12‑episode series is slated to premiere on July 23. Earlier, KBS announced plans to move its Wednesday–Thursday dramas to weekends after The First Night With the Duke. However, the network has now confirmed that My Girlfriend is the Man will be its final Wednesday–Thursday drama this year, with a new weekend lineup launching in August. KBS also shared its intention to adopt a more flexible scheduling strategy going forward, mixing weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
With Yoon Sanha, Arin, Yoo Jeong Hu, and Chuu in the lead roles, My Girlfriend is the Man is expected to deliver a bold and unconventional romance that captures the attention of viewers.
