Netflix has unveiled the main poster and trailer for its upcoming series Mercy for None.
This noir action drama follows Nam Gi Jun (played by So Ji Sub), a former underworld figure who cut his own Achilles tendon to leave behind the violent world. After the death of his younger brother Nam Gi Seok (Lee Jun Hyuk), who had risen to the role of second-in-command, Gi Jun returns for the first time in 11 years to find out the truth and get revenge.
The newly released poster shows So Ji Sub as Nam Gi Jun, his fist clenched tightly as he prepares to strike. The title Mercy for None stands out in bold, blood-red letters, paired with the chilling tagline: “A world built on blood.”
The trailer begins with Gi Jun at his brother’s funeral—a moment that sets him on a dangerous path. Determined to uncover the truth behind his brother’s death, he grabs his signature weapon, a baseball bat, and dives into brutal fights. The trailer also highlights a cast of intense characters: Gu Jun Mo (Gong Myung), the eerie heir to Bong San, who smiles through a blood-covered face; Lee Geum Son (Choo Young Woo), an ambitious prosecutor and the son of powerful figure Lee Joo Woon; Gu Bong San (Ahn Gil Kang), the furious leader of Bong San; Choi Sung Chul (Jo Han Chul), Lee Joo Woon’s trusted right-hand man; and Cha Young Do (Cha Seung Won), a mysterious figure who quickly realizes Gi Jun has returned.
Ahead of the poster and trailer release, the creators of the original webtoon, Oh Se Hyung and Kim Kyun Tae, sent their heartfelt congratulations after previewing the series. Oh Se Hyung praised the adaptation with, “It’s just excellent as expected,” and added, “Cheering for the newly reborn Nam Gi Jun!” Kim Kyun Tae contributed an illustration of Gi Jun and Gi Seok smiling side-by-side, along with a warm message: “I hope everyone enjoys Mercy for None on Netflix.”

Mercy for None will premiere worldwide on Friday, June 6 at 4 p.m. KST, exclusively on Netflix.
