Seo Ye Ji lit up the stage in Episode 2 of SNL Korea Season 7, which aired on Coupang Play on Saturday, April 12th at 8 PM.
She was warmly welcomed by Shin Dong Yup and the crew. Though she admitted to being nervous about her first comedy appearance, she quickly shed the jitters once the show began. Her complete immersion in the skits drew admiration.
Seo Ye Ji first transformed into ‘SeoYeGPT,’ an AI robot summoned by user Kim Won Hoon. With a blank stare and robotic speech, she nailed the role with eerie precision. When rival bot ‘DeepSikBot,’ played by Lee Soo Ji, appeared, Seo fired back with aegyo and the viral ‘Mantra’ dance. She dove into the chaos with bold ad-libs that had viewers laughing out loud.
Next, she played a seductive hair salon owner who effortlessly convinced customers to buy hair loss products. With her stunning looks and playful charm, she captivated clients and cleverly shut down any suspicions with quick-witted improvisation.
In a couple’s skit with Shin Dong Yup, she switched gears and played a shy, innocent woman, showcasing her wide acting range. After the show, Seo Ye Ji said, “I laughed from the depths of my soul. I’ll never forget today.”
SNL Korea Season 7, Episode 3 will air on Saturday, April 19th at 8 PM on Coupang Play.
