Wild Thing has finalized its cast and officially begun filming.
Kang Dong Won is set to make his most daring transformation since his debut in the upcoming comedy film Wild Thing. Kang Dong Won takes on the role of Hyun Woo, the former leader of the once-popular three-member dance group “Triangle.” Now struggling to make ends meet, he lingers around broadcasting stations as a freelance entertainer. Fans are eager to see how Kang Dong Won will bring this quirky character to life.
Uhm Tae Goo, known for his intense presence in Night in Paradise and the series Light Shop, plays Sang Goo, “Triangle’s” fiery rapper. Despite his terrible rapping skills, his passion knows no bounds, making his character irresistibly charming.
Playing Domi, “Triangle’s” lead vocalist and center, is Park Ji Hyun. Park Ji Hyun has been recognized for her solid acting in dramas like Flex X Cop and Reborn Rich, as well as the film Hidden Face. Though she has retired and lives under the radar, she struggles to suppress her natural “girl-crush” charisma, offering an intriguing contrast to her subdued life.
Adding to the mix is Oh Jung Se, a uniquely talented actor known for It’s Okay Not to Be Okay and When the Camellia Blooms. He plays Sung Gon, a tragic ballad singer who was constantly overshadowed by “Triangle” and could never rise above second place. His comedic performance is expected to be a highlight of the film.
Directed by Son Jae Gon and produced by About Film, the company behind the mega-hit comedy Extreme Job, Wild Thing promises to deliver top-tier comedy entertainment.
The film officially began shooting on Sunday, March 30th, and will continue production in full swing.
