As Kim Soo Hyun faces rumors of having dated Kim Sae Ron while she was still a minor, a new controversy is surfacing—this time over suspiciously uniform online comments defending the actor.
Screenshots of suspicious comment patterns recently went viral on online communities and social platforms under titles like “Kim Soo Hyun’s agency spreading part-timer comments across communities.” One post captured the repeated comments plastered all over YouTube and online communities, all expressing similar sentiments.
One example, posted repeatedly under various videos, reads: “I’m not even a fan of Kim Soo Hyun, but it’s frustrating to see him getting bashed so harshly over allegations that haven’t been confirmed.”
Another frequently seen comment was “Seeing Kim Soo Hyun looking so out of it is honestly worrying. He couldn’t even get out of the car on set and just sat there in a daze. Aren’t we just adding more victims to the mess?”
Online users were quick to call out the alleged campaign. “Did Kim Soo Hyun’s agency hire the cheapest PR firm in town? All the comments are identical,” one wrote. Another questioned, “All these comments are only on sites where accounts are easily made.” Many were blunt in their criticism, calling the effort “pathetic” and “desperate.”
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, meanwhile, has maintained its stance: while he and Kim Sae Ron did have a relationship, it only began after she became a legal adult. The team has firmly denied all claims that the actor dated her while she was underage.
