Kim Seon Ho has recently signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio, amid swirling rumors of a massive signing bonus.

On the 1st, Fantagio officially announced, “Kim Seon Ho has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio.” The agency stated, “He is an actor who has received great love while working in various fields with his stable acting skills and unique charm,” adding, “We plan to provide full support so that he can showcase his capabilities in various projects and fields.”

However, reports had previously circulated that the actor would sign with HighZiumStudio, the agency managing Song Joong Ki. His sudden decision to join Fantagio instead has drawn attention. Particularly noteworthy are reports suggesting Kim was offered a signing bonus of approximately 2 billion KRW (about 1.4 million USD).

When contacted on the 6th, a Fantagio representative told OSEN, “It is difficult to confirm details related to the contract, including the signing bonus. We ask for your understanding.”

Meanwhile, Kim Seon Ho made his debut in the theater first in 2009 and entered television with the KBS drama Good Manager in 2017. He later gained recognition through tvN’s 100 Days My Prince and JTBC’s Welcome to Waikiki 2, before achieving explosive popularity through tvN’s Start-Up and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.

Recently, he made his big screen debut with the film The Childe and returned to television with Disney Plus’s Tyrant. Kim Seon Ho, who is set to make a special appearance in Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines next month, is also preparing for the release of Netflix’s Can This Love Be Translated? and Disney Plus’s Delusion (literal title).
