The parents of K-pop phenomenon NJZ revealed member Hanni has successfully secured her new Korean visa, while simultaneously exposing alleged pressure tactics from their agency ADOR.

The parents took to social media on February 12th to counter what they describe as a wave of misinformation. “Recently, there has been a flood of speculative talk about Hanni’s residency status. We want to correct these false claims,” they stated, announcing that “Hanni received a new visa through legitimate procedures on February 11th.”

In their statement, the parents painted a troubling picture of ADOR’s alleged tactics during the visa process. “ADOR pressured (Hanni) using visa issues, which are naturally sensitive for foreign residents in Korea, by demanding she sign an extension consent form listing ADOR as her agency and sending emails suggesting she could become an illegal resident if she didn’t agree,” they revealed. The accusations escalated with claims that “ADOR even unilaterally submitted documents requiring personal information and signatures to relevant agencies without consent and only notified afterward—actions that defy common sense.”

The parents particularly took issue with what they suggest is a coordinated media campaign: “There have been approximately 70 articles just yesterday and today, even speculating about the type and expiration date of the visa, which is private information we have no obligation to disclose. We express serious regret that information that could only have come from ADOR, who knows the members’ personal information, has been spreading.”

As a dual citizen of Australia and Vietnam, Hanni requires an arts and entertainment (E-6) visa to promote in South Korea. While the parents confirmed the successful visa acquisition, they strategically withheld details about its specific type, maintaining privacy in the face of what they characterize as ADOR’s information leaks.
