Rising chemistry between Lee Se Young and Na In Woo, leads of MBC’s new drama Motel California, has set tongues wagging about potential romance brewing between the co-stars.
During their recent appearance on the YouTube channel VIVO TV’s show “Let’s Go in One Car,” the pair displayed notable chemistry while sharing a ride with comedian Song Eun Yi.
Song Eun Yi, who served as their chauffeur for the segment, playfully predicted they could become “the first couple of 2025.” The suggestion didn’t seem far-fetched as Na In Woo was spotted tenderly brushing away strands of hair from Lee Se Young’s face—a gesture that visibly surprised even their veteran host.
The episode’s highlight came during a choice game when Lee Se Young, known for being an ardent fan of Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung Min, made headlines by choosing Na In Woo over the soccer star. When asked to pick between “a reward vacation for ‘Motel California’ with Na In Woo” versus “watching Son Heung Min’s Tottenham match live,” Lee Se Young opted for the former.

“I’ve seen Son Heung Min’s match before, and I even watched one early this morning,” Lee Se Young explained with a laugh. “That’s something I can choose to do anytime. But a reward vacation with Na In Woo for ‘Motel California’ isn’t something I can make happen just by choosing it.”
Na In Woo, who had apparently expected Lee Se Young to choose the soccer match, appeared pleasantly surprised by her answer, responding with an incredulous “Really?”
The pair’s evident chemistry has already begun generating buzz among drama fans, who are eagerly anticipating their on-screen partnership in Motel California.
