Son Ye Jin made her appearance at husband Hyun Bin‘s film event, attending the VIP screening of Harbin at CGV I-Park Mall in Seoul’s Yongsan district on Thursday.

The appearance marked a significant moment for the power couple, as Son Ye Jin had never before attended a public event for her husband’s work. During a brief mini-interview at the screening, the actress couldn’t contain her excitement, saying, “Why am I more nervous? It’s not even my movie,” before enthusiastically cheering, “Good luck, honey!”—drawing thunderous applause from fans. The moment was particularly noteworthy as the couple has traditionally maintained privacy about their relationship, even after marriage.

Son Ye Jin shared intimate details about witnessing her husband’s dedication to the role: “Watching him from beside, he worked so hard it was almost heartbreaking. His face grew gaunt, and I could see the agony in his eyes. I could understand his pain as an actor myself. But that’s why I have absolutely no doubt this will be a great film.”

Earlier that day, Hyun Bin reciprocated the sentiment in the interview, expressing gratitude for his wife’s support: “My wife must have been lonely too, while I was constantly filming. As an actor herself, she deeply understands how challenging this type of project can be. Her simple words of ‘good job’ and ‘you worked hard’ after I finished meant the world to me.”

The actor also opened up about his post-marriage evolution, both personally and professionally, noting with a smile, “Everything has changed.” Touching on the subject of opening up about his private life, he reflected, “I’m still cautious, but if there’s something I can express within appropriate boundaries, I’ll share what I can.”
