Min Hee Jin, former CEO of ADOR, has revealed that she faced both surveillance and death threats following her recent conflicts with HYBE.
On the 29th, Min appeared on music critic Kim Young Dae’s YouTube channel “School of Music,” where she shared her alarming experience. “I was recently followed,” she began. “I only realized it because the taxi driver pointed it out. A car was following us closely. Even when the driver changed routes to check, they still kept tailing us. I got out to take photos of the car and its license plate, then reported it to the police immediately.”
Min also mentioned receiving death threats, adding, “I suppose I’m not fated to die just yet,” with a mix of resilience and humor.
Recently, Min filed for a provisional injunction to reinstate her as CEO of ADOR, though the request was dismissed. Explaining her decision to file, she said, “I pursued this to prove my innocence and sincerity. I intend to go as far as I can with this lawsuit.”
She acknowledged that the chances of success were low. “I estimated about a 10 to 20% chance of winning the injunction, but I felt this was a way to give HYBE one more chance. If I lose, perhaps they might set aside their pride and accept me again. And at the same time, show my innocence.”
Min expressed frustration, saying, “It all started from lies. I’m constantly trapped in false narratives, and I need to clear my name.”
Amid the ordeal, BTS’s V reached out to her, even contacting her from the military. “V occasionally calls from the base,” she shared. “Despite everything happening, he cheerfully checked in, asking, ‘You alright?’ He also said that when everything first surfaced, he didn’t know when would be the right time to reach out.”
Min added, “He even texted me at dawn on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday. He’s such a poppy person and so friendly. I was really touched. He wouldn’t have done that if he wasn’t kind at heart. I’m truly grateful.”
