What Comes After Love, starring South Korean actress Lee Se Young and Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, is receiving a positive response across Asia. According to Viu, Asia’s largest regional OTT platform, the series topped the Viu weekly chart in Indonesia for the week of October 1 (September 30 to October 6). It also ranked third in Malaysia, fourth in Hong Kong, and fifth in Thailand, securing a spot in the top five across four Asian nations.
What Comes After Love is a sentimental melodrama that explores the journey of feelings following a fateful love. Lee Se Young, who previously reached number one on the Viu weekly chart in Indonesia with her works The Law Cafe and The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, has now achieved the impressive feat of topping the chart for three consecutive projects with What Comes After Love.
Meanwhile, Viu is a Hong Kong-based regional OTT platform under PCCW that showcases popular Korean content in 16 countries across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. According to MPA data, it ranks as the second-largest OTT service in Southeast Asia based on monthly active users (MAU), streaming hours, and paid subscriber numbers. Currently, it offers dramas such as Family By Choice, Dear Hyeri and the survival reality show Stage Fighter.
