NewJeans took to YouTube on the afternoon of Wednesday, hosting an urgent livestream titled “What NewJeans Wants to Say,” where they publicly urged HYBE to reinstate Min Hee Jin as the CEO of ADOR.

Minji addressed the ongoing tensions between Min Hee Jin and HYBE, saying, “For half a year, all those unnecessary and exhausting stories have continued. As those directly involved, we’ve really been uncomfortable.” She continued, “We have music we want to create and goals we want to achieve, but if things keep going like this, we’ll lose our identity as a group, and it’s making us feel powerless.” Minji added, “We’re here to express our thoughts directly because continuing like this is bad for everyone. Please stop these exhausting actions.”

Haein echoed these sentiments, criticizing HYBE’s approach. “The way HYBE operates doesn’t seem honest or right to us. Please, stop interfering and bring back our CEO, Min Hee Jin. We don’t want to work with strangers in an unfamiliar environment—bring us back to ADOR as it was,” she asserted. She added firmly, “We’re not asking for anything special. We just want everyone to do their jobs properly. We’ll do ours, so please listen to our request.”

Danielle made an emotional plea, stating, “From a human standpoint, please stop tormenting our CEO. It’s really unfair, and HYBE is starting to look like an inhumane company. What are we supposed to learn from them?”

Minji closed the livestream with a strong message: “What we want is the original ADOR with Min Hee Jin as CEO, where management and production are integrated. We believe this is the way to avoid further conflict with HYBE. We request that Chairman Bang and HYBE restore ADOR by the 25th.”

The livestream sparked mixed reactions from netizens. Some supported NewJeans, saying, “Imagine how frustrated they must be to do a streaming about this,” and “What HYBE is doing is workplace bullying. They’re not even protecting the artists.” Others, however, felt differently, commenting, “Now artists are directly involving themselves in executive decisions?” and “NewJeans is being too emotional and one-sided in their response.”
