Summer may be coming to a close, but various K-Pop idols kept things hot on the stage during Waterbomb – one of Korea’s most popular summer festivals!

If you haven’t seen it before, Waterbomb is a music fest where various idols come on stage donning awesome swimsuits, showing off their summer bods, and having fun with fans through various activities like water gun fights and more! This year cignature, a seven-member girl group under C9 Entertainment, had visual member JEEWON steal the show with her cute performance and amazing appearance.

Being referred to as the next Kwon Eun Bi, who sky-rocketed in popularity after her stage performance at Waterbomb, JEEWON of cignature has received a lot of attention and praise for raising her group’s popularity through her performance which garnered 1 million views. To celebrate her fun and successful performance, JEEWON met with ZAPZEE and disclosed the feeling of performing solo on such a hot summer stage and the joys of interacting with fans up close and personal.

JEEWON also showcased her cute charms once more by greeting fans in our exclusive video below! See what JEEWON had to say in both the video and our exclusive interview.

Q1. After Waterbomb, cignature gained more attention as a group! How do you feel after your group became even more popular?

JEEWON: We still have a long way to go, but I can definitely feel the difference now. People are starting to recognize cignature, sing along with our songs, and I’m keeping busy with various events and recordings for programs. It’s amazing! I’ll keep working hard from here on out!

Q2. How did you feel performing at Waterbomb? Were you nervous because it was a solo stage?

JEEWON: I was nervous preparing for the stage alone without the other members, but once I got up there, I had so much fun. The cheers from the audience who came to Waterbomb made me feel so happy.

Q3. Who styled your super cute outfit for Waterbomb? What did you like most about it? If you were to perform at Waterbomb again how would you want to style it differently?

JEEWON: The styling was done by our stylist team. I really loved the combination of pink and cute characters, which are my favorites! Next time, I’d like to try something completely opposite – maybe a simple and pure style.

Q4. What do you think about the Waterbomb Stage and festival? Do you think it’s a stage where K-POP artists can showcase charms they usually don’t reveal to the public or is it an opportunity to interact with fans through playing in water?

JEEWON: I think Waterbomb is a truly special stage where I can connect with fans not only from Korea but also from abroad. It’s an invaluable experience that allows for real-time interaction! Unlike other festivals where you just watch, this one lets you directly engage with the artists, and it’s special because you can enjoy it coolly even in the heat of summer!

Q5. How do you feel about people calling you the next Waterbomb QUEEN or likening you to Kwon Eun Bi?

JEEWON: I’m grateful for any description people give me! I want to be remembered as someone with a wide range of charms.

JEEWON couldn’t be any cuter and really expressed just how much she appreciated the opportunity to perform on Korea’s most popular stage. As expected, JEEWON also wanted to thank her fans and shared a final message for all the people that love her and CIGNATURE.

JEEWON: Thanks to our signfan (cignature Fandom name) who are always with me, I was able to showcase cignature’s charm on stages like Waterbomb and many others. I’ll show you even more diverse sides in the future, so please look forward to it! I’m always grateful and love you all!

In the end, JEEWON was able to outshine her fellow artists and really was a crowd-pleaser! Various fan-cams of JEEWON are still the talk of the town today. It was also recently revealed that Waterbomb will hold their first stage in LA this year too. Perhaps you can catch JEEWON and other K-pop artists there next? It will be held on Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th, so don’t forget to mark your calendars and purchase your tickets.

Don’t forget to follow JEEWON and her stellar group cignature on Instagram and Twitter and also follow ZAPZEE on social media for more exclusive K-Pop interviews and updates!
