BLACKPINK member and solo artist Lisa has been nominated for four categories at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. According to the nominees list released by MTV on August 6th, Lisa’s recent solo hit “ROCKSTAR” is nominated for Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, and Best K-pop.
Jungkook, a member of the global supergroup BTS and also a solo artist, has been nominated for Best Collaboration and Best K-pop with his official solo debut song “Seven.”
In the Best K-pop category, NCT Dream’s “Smoothie,” NewJeans’ “Super Shy,” Stray Kids’ “Rock,” and Tomorrow X Together’s “Deja Vu” are also nominated alongside Lisa and Jungkook.
LE SSERAFIM has been nominated for Push Performance of the Year with their hit song “Fearless.” This is the first time LE SSERAFIM has been nominated for this award.
The 2024 MTV VMAs will be held in New York on September 10th. The MTV VMAs is considered one of the four major popular music awards in the United States, along with the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.
