A heartwarming story about BTS’s V is capturing hearts as he nears his discharge in just one month.
A fellow soldier, who served alongside V, recently shared a heartfelt post on social media. “There were so many things I was thankful to Taehyung for during our time together in the military,” he wrote. “I couldn’t put it all into words, but I wanted to express my gratitude this way.”
He described V’s remarkable achievements despite the challenging conditions: “I was deeply moved watching him earn first place in marksmanship, receive commendation awards and surpass the top-tier standard in the 3km endurance test.”

The soldier also highlighted V’s generosity: “Thanks to the equipment he donated, I was able to work out in a much better environment. Whenever we had leave or went out, he’d treat me to delicious food at the PX. I was so grateful.”
Most significantly, the soldier credited V’s unwavering passion for inspiring his own ambitions: “His steady dedication helped me solidify my dream of becoming a physical therapist. I didn’t give up, all because of him.”
The post quickly gained attention, and V responded with characteristic humility: “Please don’t give up on becoming a rehabilitation trainer. Make your dream come true and come find me. I’ll be waiting.”
