Byeon Woo Seok‘s fans have caused a stir by flooding the actor’s agency mate’s post with complaints about his recent excessive security controversy.
Following the “Byeon Woo Seok excessive security” controversy, some of Byeon Woo Seok’s fans have been leaving numerous critical comments on the official Instagram account of his agency, Varo Entertainment.
Fans expressed their frustration with comments like, “Why is the security company checking passengers’ tickets?”, “Just blaming the security company is low. Not even BTS, BLACKPINK, or Son Heung Min block airport gates like this,” and “The apology came too late. The agency’s poor handling has caused the actor unnecessary backlash.”
However, these comments were left on a post featuring fellow Varo Entertainment actor Gong Seung Yeon, simply because it was the most recent post on the agency’s account, causing unintended backlash for another actor.

In response, other fans urged for self-restraint, commenting, “Why are you causing a scene on Gong Seung Yeon’s post?” “Please don’t do this here,” and “Send emails instead of commenting on other actors’ posts.”
As word spread about the influx of complaints on the account, other netizens joined in, leaving negative comments about Byeon Woo Seok and his agency. Consequently, Gong Seung Yeon’s post has turned into a battleground.
The incident stems from Byeon Woo Seok’s departure from Incheon International Airport on July 12th for a fan meeting in Hong Kong. Six bodyguards surrounding the actor, the security team reportedly controlled parts of the gate for about 10 minutes and even checked other passengers’ passports and boarding passes without authorization.
The Incheon Airport Police are currently investigating the security team for possible violations, including obstruction of business, coercion, and assault under the Criminal Code.
