Adding to the excitement, Kim Soo Hyun will appear on the Japanese talk show Tetsuko’s Room. Hosted by actress and author Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, the program has been a staple on Japanese television since 1976. Ahead of Kim Soo Hyun’s appearance, the show announced, “A Hallyu star who has gained worldwide popularity will be on the show.”
During his appearance on Tetsuko’s Room, Kim Soo Hyun discussed topics such as his drama Queen of Tears, his Asian tour and his hobbies. Kuroyanagi was particularly surprised by Kim Soo Hyun’s rendition of Masahiko Kondo’s 1981 song “Gingiragin ni Sarigenaku” at his fan meeting.
Despite concluding three months ago, the drama Queen of Tears remains popular in Japan. The recent opening of a pop-up store in Tokyo dedicated to the drama is a testament to its enduring popularity.
