Drama Ranking for 3rd Week of June

It seems the era where the “Netflix original” title alone could captivate viewers is waning. Both Netflix series that held mid-tier positions last week have dropped off the charts entirely. While The 8 Show managed to stay in the Top 10 for nearly two months, Hierarchy fell out of the rankings just three weeks post-release. Continuing its reign at number one is SBS’s Connection, which has seen a ratings boost to over 10% following the revelation of the criminal threatening Ji Sung’s character. After a series of less successful dramas, Ji Sung has reaffirmed his star power with Connection. tvN’s The Midnight Romance in Hagwon held steady at the second spot. While it hasn’t quite reached the popularity of its predecessor Queen of Tears, the romance between Jung Ryeo Won and Wi Ha Jun has steadily gained traction. JTBC’s Miss Night and Day climbed to third place, with the dynamic duo of Jeong Eun Ji and Lee Jung Eun resonating well with audiences, driving up viewership. ENA’s Crash concluded its run in fifth place, achieving the second-highest ratings in ENA’s history after Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
