Song Joong Ki is set to join Han Hyo Joo and Shun Oguri in the upcoming Japanese Netflix series Romantics Anonymous.
According to an exclusive report by iMBC Entertainment on the 12th, Song Joong Ki recently participated in filming for Romantics Anonymous in Japan.
The series is a romantic comedy based on the French film of the same name. It tells the story of Hana, played by Han Hyo Joo, a genius chocolatier who is extremely shy to the point of discomfort in her daily life. She finds herself working at a small chocolate shop, where a series of charming and heartwarming events unfold.
Song Joong Ki will make a cameo appearance, adding depth and excitement to the series. Han Hyo Joo stars as Hana, the talented but socially anxious chocolatier, while Shun Oguri plays Sosuke Fujiwara, the shop owner with a traumatic past.
Romantics Anonymous is directed by Sho Tsukikawa, known for Let Me Eat Your Pancreas, with Yong Film involved in the production. The series is currently being filmed in Japan and is scheduled for release next year.
