JTBC’s new variety show My Name is Gabriel, featuring stars Park Bo Gum, Ji Chang Wook, Park Myung Soo, and Yeom Hye Ran, has unveiled its main poster, stirring excitement for its upcoming premiere.
My Name is Gabriel, produced by TEO, has celebrities live the life of an ordinary person from among the world’s 8 billion people for 72 hours. The first lineup includes Park Myung Soo in Chiang Mai, Thailand; Yeom Hye Ran in Chongqing, China; Ji Chang Wook in Guadalajara, Mexico; Park Bo Gum in Dublin, Ireland; and Gabee in Mexico City, Mexico.
The main poster features the four stars beaming with joy, each striking a unique pose. Behind them, images evoking the essence of each country, like Chinese hotpot and Thai mangoes, add an exotic and exciting touch.
One standout element of the poster is the presence of “AI Gabriel,” an AI program designed to match the stars with the most fitting lives based on their pre-show interviews. This intriguing aspect raises curiosity about which lives the AI will assign to each celebrity. From Park Bo Gum holding sheet music to Park Myung Soo riding a motorcycle, these teasers leave fans eager to discover the full stories behind these snapshots.
Earlier teasers revealed glimpses of Park Myung Soo’s life in Thailand and Park Bo Gum’s experiences in Ireland, generating significant buzz. The third teaser, released last week, showcased Yeom Hye Ran adapting to life in Chongqing, China, and Ji Chang Wook settling into Guadalajara, Mexico. Additionally, Gabee’s passionate dance performance in Mexico City has heightened anticipation for the show.
My Name is Gabriel is directed by Kim Tae Ho, known for various hit projects post-TEO, alongside Lee Tae Kyung, who previously directed DoReMi Market. Defconn and Davichi (Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung) will host the show, which premieres on Friday, June 21st at 8:50 PM KST on JTBC.
