Loverly Runner is an upcoming tvN drama that tells the heartwarming story of a devoted fan who travels back in time to save her beloved K-pop idol.
The new “challenge video” offers a glimpse of the charming energy and interaction between stars Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok. In the video, the 6’2″ Byun Woo Seok playfully bends down to meet Kim Hye Yoon’s gaze, creating a sweet moment that hints at their couple-like chemistry on screen.
Beyond their captivating performances in the teaser, Byun Woo Seok portrays Ryu Seon Jae, a top K-pop star who faces a tragic demise. Kim Hye Yoon takes on the role of Lim Sol, a passionate fan who travels back in time to her teenage years, determined to change her idol’s fate. Lim Sol becomes his fan after hearing his song on the radio by chance and goes back 15 years to save him.
This isn’t the first time Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok have charmed audiences with their chemistry. The duo previously shared the stage as presenters at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards, leaving a lasting impression with their sweet interactions.
Loverly Runner is set to premiere on tvN this April.
