The much-anticipated script reading for tvN’s new weekend drama Queen of Tears has been unveiled. Set to premiere in March, Queen of Tears explores the crisis and rebirth of love between Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), a wealthy heiress known as the “queen of the department store,” and Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), the son of a village chief and known as the “supermarket prince.”
The lineup, featuring the Queens Family and the Yongduri folks, including Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Lee Joo Bin, has already garnered significant attention.
Kim Soo Hyun, portraying Baek Hyun Woo, a legal advisor for the Queens Group, masterfully expressed the subtle emotions of a character who feels overwhelmed by his in-laws’ imposing presence yet maintains a calm exterior.
