A man presumed to be the brother of ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has captured the attention of fans and netizens alike.
On January 30th, various online communities were abuzz with the release of a photo titled “Cha Eun Woo’s Little Brother.” The man in the picture bears a striking resemblance to the artist, garnering significant interest for his similar facial features. It’s speculated that this photo surfaced when his Instagram account was briefly switched to public.
ASTRO members, including Cha Eun Woo himself, have previously shared tidbits about his brother. In a 2021 broadcast of JTBC’s Knowing Bros, Moonbin mentioned, “I’ve seen Eun Woo’s brother. He may not be famous, but he’s incredibly handsome, even more so than Eun Woo, with a smaller face.” To this, Cha Eun Woo added, “My brother just completed his military service and is now working part-time.”
Former ASTRO member Rocky also spoke about Eun Woo’s brother in a past live broadcast, saying, “Eun Woo’s brother is the same age as me. I was totally surprised when I saw him in person. His face is so small, and he has such a pretty nose.”
Furthermore, Cha Eun Woo revealed in January 2020 on SBS’s Handsome Tigers that “My brother has more talent and a smaller face than me. He was a student in China, but now he’s serving in the military.”
As for Cha Eun Woo’s family, he has parents and a younger brother named Lee Dong Hwi, who was born in 1999. According to those close to him, Lee Dong Hwi has no interest in the entertainment industry and has set his Instagram account to private after gaining attention.
In other news, Cha Eun Woo is set to star alongside Kim Nam Joo in MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Wonderful World, premiering on March 1st.
