Kim Ji Hoon discussed his nude scene in the Netflix show Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area on a YouTube channel titled “Don’t Forget Your Breakfast.”
In the YouTube show, Jang Sung Kyu said, “I saw you naked during the show’s love scene.” When the show first came out, Kim Ji Hoon shocked many viewers by going nude for some scenes in Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area.
The actor noted, “It was my first and last bed scene. It was more intense in the original series. So, we put in a lot of effort to recreate the scene as best as we can. We came fully prepared on set and finished shooting the scene very quickly.”
Jang Sung Kyu got curious about the process and asked, “Isn’t it called ‘socking’? What exactly do you use to cover your private part?” To which, the actor replied, “We use something like a panty liner and tape it around the lower part, similar to a diaper. Nobody does it for us. We usually do it for ourselves.”
Addressing concerns about any physical arousal during such scenes, Kim Ji Hoon explained, “There are many technical aspects to consider while filming the scene. So, it becomes nearly impossible to feel any physical changes.”
Expressing surprise, Jang Sung Kyu commented, “But it looks so real on screen.” Kim Ji Hoon clarified, “We are purely acting, not indulging in the moment. My entire focus is on how we, as actors, look on screen.”
