The woman who stalked Kim Tae Hee and Rain has received a prison sentence.

The Seoul Western District Court sentenced the woman to six months in prison, along with 40 hours of a stalking rehabilitation program during the hearing held on the morning of January 10th.
The verdict stated, “While the defendant is a first-time offender and had no clear intent to harm the victims, it’s concerning that the stalking continued despite multiple warnings. Given the defendant’s current state of having mental illness and lack of family support for treatment, there’s a high chance of the behavior repeating without proper treatment.”
In December 2022, the woman faced trial for repeatedly visiting the couple’s residence and ringing the doorbell 14 times over eight months since March 2021. Despite receiving three notices before the Stalking Punishment Act took effect in October 2021, she pressed the doorbell again and was arrested in February 2022.
