Netflix has officially greenlit the second season of Weak Hero Class 2 (working title) and has revealed the star-studded cast, which includes Park Ji Hoon, Ryeoun, Choi Min Young, Yoo Soo Bin, Bae Nara, Lee Min Jae, and Lee Jun Young.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Weak Hero Class 2 tells the story of Yeon Si Eun, a top student haunted by the trauma of failing to protect his friend from school bullies. The story unfolds as he transfers to Eunjang High School, where he must face even more intense violence to keep his friends safe.
Yeon Si Eun makes new friends at his new school, Eunjang High: Park Hoo Min (played by Ryeoun), Seo Joon Tae (Choi Min Young) and Go Hyeon Tak (Lee Min Jae). And Choi Hyo Man (Yoo Soo Bin), who kept us on the edge of our seats in Season 1, will return in Season 2.
Plus, joining the cast as characters from the ‘Union,’ the big threat for Si Eun and his friends, are Bae Nara (Na Baek Jin) and Lee Jun Young (Geum Seong Jae).
Han Jun Hee and Yoo Soo Min are back in the director’s chairs for the second season, along with martial arts director Heo Myeong Haeng, music director Primary and editor Park Min Sun.
