Lee Kwang Soo is leaving the cast of The Zone: Survival Mission 3.
KINGKONG by STARSHIP, Lee Kwang Soo’s agency, revealed on November 17th, “Lee Kwang Soo will not join the cast of The Zone: Survival Mission 3.”
The Zone: Survival Mission is a thrilling survival variety show that showcases the extraordinary journey of three members, as they navigate through intense simulations across eight different zones. With Lee Kwang Soo, one of the three regular members, confirmed to leave the show, YouTuber Dex emerged as a strong candidate to fill the actor’s role.
Regarding this, Dex’s agency informed Newsen on the 16th that they are currently in the process of verifying with the star. Dex, a former member of the special forces UDT, has previously been seen in Wavve’s original survival show Bloody Game 2 and Netflix’s Zombieverse.
Lee Kwang Soo is currently starring in tvN’s Green Bean, Red Bean, with his next drama projects being No Way Out from STUDIO X+U and Karma from Netflix.
