Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung will grace our screens in the highly-anticipated historical romance series titled Sejak, The Enchanted (literal title) in January 2024.
Sejak, The Enchanted weaves the tale of a ruthless love story between King Yi In, caught between royal power struggles and political machinations, and Spy Kang Hee Si, who initially attempts to seduce the King for revenge but ends up being seduced herself. With the industry powerhouses Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung tabbed as the leads, the excitement is already reaching a fever pitch.
Jo Jung Suk makes a triumphant return to the small screen nearly three years after his last appearance in the 2021 drama Hospital Playlist Season 2. Shin Se Kyung comes with a notable history of historical drama roles, including Deep Rooted Tree, Six Flying Dragons, and Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung. The combination of these two trusted actors in a period drama has everyone talking.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk has a couple of feature films lined up for release, including The Land of Happiness (working title) and Pilot. As for Shin Se Kyung, she recently wrapped up her role in tvN’s new drama Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun.
